There are two important connection points in Guayaquil. Both are located in the north of the city. One is the José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport and the Terminal Terrestre de Guayaquil. From these two places you can travel to other locations in and out of Ecuador.

José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport
It is named in honour of the poet, Guayaquil’s independence hero and the city’s first mayor: José Joaquín de Olmedo. This airport has been chosen by the Airports Council International (ACI) as the «best airport in the world by size» in its category, as well as the best airport in Latin America and the Caribbean, due to its infrastructure.
You can check airline schedules as well as which airlines are currently operating.

Guayaquil Bus Terminal
It is located on Av. Benjamín Rosales Aspiazu and Av. de las Américas. It is near the International Airport José Joaquín de Olmedo as well as the Río Daule Metrovía terminal. From this terminal you can move to every place in the city due to the urban transport services available here.
In this 3-storey building, 260 commercial premises and around 84 transport companies operate journeys to all 23 provinces of Ecuador, and to neighbouring countries: Peru and Colombia.
